Installing on your Mac

  1. Open the disk image

    Double-click the Gistsmith disk image (.dmg) you downloaded.

  2. Drag to Applications

    Drag the Gistsmith icon into the Applications folder, then eject the disk image.

  3. Open it

    Open Gistsmith from Applications. If macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet, choose “Open”.

  4. Grant permissions

    The setup page asks for microphone and system-audio permissions. You can change them later in System Settings › Privacy & Security.

  5. Sign in

    Sign in with Apple or Google and start your first meeting. The trial is 3 meetings or 7 days, whichever comes first.

Updates

New versions arrive inside the app and are installed with your approval.
